We came because we heard great things. Not disappointed, just feel like it's pretty standard. The best thing was the drink, I had the margarita and it was great, not watered down at all. 10/10. The food itself wasn't bad, but I felt like it's what I make myself on Sunday morning. The waffles were okay. The syrup was not maple. You get the point. You can make it in your kitchen more than likely. The shirmp deviled eggs were good, but still had the tails attached so you cannot just eat them. The music also started off really soft and mellow but then suddenly got loud, felt more like a lounge or a club atmosphere than a restaurant at that point. Overall, not upset I stopped by but won't be in a rush to go back if ever.
I went for brunch with friends and the floral interior design is very pretty. They have swung bench seats as an option for dining. I had the lamb chops, eggs and potatoes. Everything was delicious. The lamb chops were a decent size and cooked perfectly. My friends had chicken and waffles. They both said the waffles was fantastic but the chicken was just ok. We would definitely return and try dinner.
We had a large party of 15. They were very accommodating with no problem. I do recommend making a reservation, no matter how small or large your party is. The food was flavorful and aesthetically pleasing. Our waiter Nathan was very patient and accommodating. If you’re into aesthetics and vibes, definitely recommend visiting.
I was absolutely blown away by my experience at South House Garden! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was BEAUTIFUL and inviting. The floral arrangements and thoughtful décor created such an eye opening and peaceful vibe, it all blended so perfectly together.🌸 The owner, Lewis, was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. And the food? Easily the best brunch I’ve ever had! The deviled egg salmon, shrimp and chicken were absolute chef’s kiss, each bite was bursting with flavor. One of the most fun parts was being able to choose your own music (small fee, but totally worth it). The space is very family friendly, with areas for pool and multiple games for kids, teens, and adults alike. It’s the perfect spot for gathering with friends or even hosting bridal parties or special events. My overall experience was amazing. I’ll definitely be back all summer long!🤗💛
Short: Ambiance is to rave about, food was alright, getting our food was long. Long: Brunch outing with the ladies, and this is where we chose. A colleague told me about it in the past, and I was excited to check it out. Would say the menu options are pretty standard, may seem like a shorter menu in comparison to some other restaurants. Calab was our server and checked in at a good rate. We wanted to try the peach dumplings, but he said they were out. Pictured: Steak bites & eggs, side French toast, Nola shrimp & grits, chopped n grits, fried lobster mac, pineapple mimosa, and brookie. My shrimp and grits were delicious. The person who had the mac said it was more cheese than noodles. The brookie was not the substitute for the dumplings, and we could have just passed on dessert. Can visit again, but overall experience doesn't have me rushing back.
